Veneer replacement and smile rehabilitation
Many patients come to Dr. Nadia unhappy with veneers done elsewhere: too white, too thick, chipped, stained at the edges, or simply not them. Replacing veneers is more demanding than placing new ones, and it is a central part of her work.

Signs your veneers may need replacing
- They look bulky, flat or opaque
- The shade is too white for your face, or doesn't match the teeth beside them
- Dark lines or staining at the gum line or edges
- Chips, cracks, or veneers that have come loose
- Inflamed or receding gums around the veneers
- Pain or sensitivity, which can signal decay underneath
Why replacement needs extra care
Old veneers have to be removed without damaging the tooth underneath, which may already have been prepared heavily. Dr. Nadia assesses what is left of each tooth, checks for decay and the health of the gums, then plans new restorations that protect the remaining tooth structure.
In some cases a crown or onlay is the safer choice, and she will explain why.
Rehabilitation, not just new veneers
Where the bite has worn or several teeth are damaged, the plan may include crowns, onlays or root canal treatment alongside new veneers, so the result is stable as well as natural-looking.

Common questions
Can all veneers be replaced?
Most can. The deciding factor is the condition of the tooth underneath, which Dr. Nadia assesses with photographs and X-rays before suggesting a plan.
Is removing veneers painful?
It is done under local anaesthetic, and most patients find it similar to having a filling.
Will I be left without teeth?
No. Temporary veneers are fitted the same day until the final veneers are ready.
Can composite veneers be replaced with porcelain?
Yes. This is one of the most common replacement requests, especially when composite has stained or worn.
